Chad Sumpter
Chad is the President and CEO of CATCH Medical, bringing over 15 years of experience in the spine and medical device industry. Before founding and leading CATCH Medical, Chad held key leadership roles at DePuy Synthes Spine, where he served as Regional Sales Manager for Central Florida, driving consistent market growth and team development. Today, Chad leads CATCH Medical with a vision centered on innovation, partnership, and excellence — guiding the company’s mission to deliver advanced spine technologies and enabling solutions that improve patient outcomes across South Florida.
Rene Portela
With over two decades of experience in the spine and medical device industry, René brings deep expertise in sales leadership, business development, and strategic partnerships. Before joining CATCH Medical, he spent nearly 17 years with DePuy Synthes Spine, where he led commercial growth initiatives and technology adoption across key markets in Florida. As VP of Sales, René leads CATCH Medical’s sales strategy across South Florida, combining clinical insight with a consultative approach to deliver innovative spine technologies and comprehensive healthcare solutions.
Patrick Perrelli
Patrick brings nearly a decade of experience in spine and medical device sales, with a strong record of driving growth and fostering clinical partnerships across Florida. Before joining CATCH Medical, he spent eight years with DePuy Synthes Spine, leading commercial expansion in the Sarasota and Naples territories. As Area Vice President of Central Florida, Patrick leads regional strategy and business development for CATCH Medical, leveraging his clinical expertise and consultative approach to strengthen partnerships and deliver innovative spine technologies throughout the region.
Federico Bregni
Federico serves as Chief Operating and Financial Officer at CATCH Medical, where he oversees operational strategy, financial performance, and regulatory compliance across all the organization. With a background spanning more than 15 years in finance, assurance and attestation, and international medical device distribution, Federico brings a unique blend of technical expertise and strategic leadership. A licensed CPA and Certified Fraud Examiner, he drives efficiency, transparency, and growth, ensuring that CATCH Medical’s operations uphold the highest standards of accuracy, accountability, and excellence.
